Ursuline Church of Sibiu was included on the list of historical monuments in the county in 2004.
The monastery was built in 1475 in order to house the Dominican monks, but a century later it was abandoned due to the introduction of Lutheran religion. In 1718 the Ursuline nuns from Pojon (Slovak town) arrived in Sibiu and took over the monastery, making it a church and a school for girls. This monument underwent several renovations over time, so a Gothic-style building has become one of the Baroque, but retains some Gothic elements such as buttresses, Gothic portal in the east, is seated on a pedestal Baroque type in which there is a blue badge with the inscription “Ursula”. In the church there are three altars, the main altar, the altar on the right side and left side altar. Above the triumphal arch is an inscription that recalls the benefactress of the church, the Empress Maria Theresa. In 1769 the nuns donated nearly 40.000 guilders to enlarge monastic buildings.
The Ursuline monastery ex- complex has two sectors: the former monastery church and former Ursuline convent (now Andrei Saguna Pedagogical College).

Monday - Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
